What are future generations asking of you NOW?
We typically meet every other week or every week, as needed. $150 per hour for a single session, with discounts for two or more sessions per month. Once you have taken my Life Assessment Quiz, we can then design the Coaching package that works best for you! Sliding scale pricing or payment options available for those with a "low budget."
As a starting point, I offer a brief, free, "no obligation" overview of your team's needs based on the results of my Ministry Team Assessment Tool. Should you require a more comprehensive assessment, then I am here to work in tandem with your team so that we can partner in the assessment process and in co-designing "next steps." Together, we will examine your strengths and "growing edges," exploring where you want to be as a team and creating strategies for getting there.
The number of coaching hours a ministry team requires depends entirely upon the team's needs; similarly, it is the team's needs that will shape the format of the coaching contract. Here are just some of the possible formats that you and your team may want to consider. Once you have taken my Ministry Team Assessment Tool, we can then design the Ministry Team Coaching package that works best for you!
Suggested Formats (in-person or remote):
Fees: Starting at $200 per hour for ministry teams of 2-12, with an additional fee of $25 per extra person for teams with more than 12 members. Quotes for customized packages available upon request; sliding scale pricing or payment options available for ministry teams with a "low budget."
Vision and Mission Coaching encourages teams to answer two questions: 1) Whom do we serve?" and 2) "What is our purpose?" The first question may have "God" as its starting point, but it also includes present stakeholders and future stakeholders, including generations yet to come as well as the planet we call home; the second question asks the team to re-visit its mission statement -- or create one from scratch-- in light of the needs of the various stakeholders. What is this team called to accomplish? What actions does this team need to take to fulfil its mission? How will this team hold itself accountable?
While a highly-performing team can always "build better," a team that is struggling may need to work on team dynamics such as belonging, respect, collaboration, and mutual support. Only by building a solid foundation can a team function effectively and achieve its goals. In our work together, we will examine team dynamics and address those issues that result in poor morale, lack of motivation and a sense of alienation. Our focus will be to create a team that, fully invested in its Mission, is now ready to design a future-oriented action plan.
Sometimes, Ministry Teams focus so intently in "getting the job done" that they neglect the spiritual foundation of their work. Instead of making time for prayer, reflection and discernment, teams get caught up in budgets, projects and proposals. Soon, there is nothing to distinguish the ministry team from a secular team, and the team charism degenerates into "multi-tasking." Spiritual Re-Set Coaching provides a "holy pause" in which teams can remember their calling as Christian ministers.
If, as a team, you fail to keep each other informed, or lack clarity in your written and spoken communications, or provide only critical feedback, or dominate discussions, or use offensive language or exclusionary language, then schedule an in-service on communication skills! What must you do to acquire conversational intelligence?
In response to societal trends, are you ready to start forging the partnerships, strategies and resources you will need to embrace the future? Together we can design action plans in response to demographic trends, global warming, migration patterns and other emerging concerns to see how you might best serve in the future. It is not enough to serve today's stakeholders-- tomorrow's stakeholders are already waiting!
