Welcome to Coaching! Whether you are thinking about getting started or have already decided to hire me as your coach, here is some information to help you navigate "next steps."
This is a question that only you or your team can answer. Examine what's working for you and what could be working better; ask what needs to change and what steps you need to take to take your ministry to the next level. This is what we will explore together!
This will depend upon your goals and how much time you need to accomplish them—there's no scientific way of measuring this! For one person, a single coaching session may be enough; for a ministry team, a series of 10-20 bi-weekly sessions might be the answer; for yet another person or team, brief weekly check-ins could be included.
My coaching clients are local, national, and international. We work mostly via Zoom, but I am open to in-person meetings in the greater Chicago area and beyond. Alternating meetings between "virtual" and "in-person" is another format you might want to consider.
As an ICF-coach, I am held to the strictest standards of confidentiality. What you share with me, stays with me, unless you indicate that you are going to harm yourself or others. In that case, I would be legally-bound to inform the appropriate authorities.
Our Life Coaching agreement includes a set amount of sessions. We will work around vacations, conflicts etc. but I must have at least 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or re-schedule. Barring any emergency, you are responsible for paying for missed sessions.
My Life Coaching clients pay me on time, whether that means purchasing a package of sessions and paying for them before we start working together; or breaking payments into several agreed-upon installments; or “paying as you go.” I accept local checks as well as payments through PayPal, Wise, and Zelle/ Quick Pay.
